The world today has a lot to say when it comes to how people should live their lives. But as believers in Christ, how should we live? Do we listen to and follow the world’s ways or do we fix our eyes and ears to the Word of God?
Every believer should incline their eyes and ears to the Word of God. We should avoid the temptation to focus on what the world says about our health, age, finances, or relationships.
We must always meditate on God’s Word. It’s a great thing to go to church every Sunday, but it isn’t enough. Our walk of faith should include constantly and persistently seeking out what God says about every situation (Joshua 1:8). The solutions to all your problems can be found in the pages of your bible, and meditating on His word every day will open the doors of your soul.
You see, God owns your body and spirit, but your soul belongs to you. The main reason why people don’t get the healing and prosperity they desire is because the door of their soul is blocked. That’s why some saved Christians find it difficult to receive their grace blessings. The blessings are there, freely provided, but you cannot receive if you do not know how. That is why it is important for every believer to spend time building their relationship with Christ by meditating on His word.
When a person accepts Christ as Lord and Saviour, the Holy Spirit comes and dwells in them. The body and spirit are renewed, but your mind (which is part of the soul) stays the same. Your mind has to play catch-up with your spirit. In Romans 12:2, Apostle Paul tells us to be transformed by renewing our mind. You have to align your soul to your spirit.
Anxiety and complaining will close the doors to your soul. No matter what you go through in life, just praise and worship and pray to God. This will open the doors to your soul and keep them open. Getting others to pray for you may help you to achieve prosperity or healing, but this is no substitute for learning to keep the doors of your soul open yourself.
You need to learn to maintain your blessing by immersing yourself in the word of God. Focus on Jesus and read your bible every day. Be thankful and pray for yourself and others.
Always ask yourself whether your thoughts line up with what God has said in His word. Stop being worried and anxious about the cares of this world, and stop complaining and being ungrateful.
Align your soul with God’s spirit to manifest the abundance that He has made available to us all!
