In the previous post, we started talking about how God is an awesome father who encourages us to move forward no matter how heavy our burdens may seem. Today, we go deeper into how God sends special people to help us out.

God made you and He knows your strengths and weaknesses. If He sees that you are struggling with your load and the mountain is getting steeper, he sends Destiny Helpers to help you along.

Imagine the Destiny Helper coming up behind you, putting their shoulder under your heavy load, and helping you lift it. They lighten the load and give you time to rest as you both walk up the path. A Destiny Helper may be temporary or permanent. In most cases, they are sent to encourage you and keep you going for a period of time. After you have regained your strength and vision, they leave to follow their own path.

Up the mountain with destiny helpers

The strange thing is that even these Destiny Helpers have their own loads to carry! You may have never realized it because they were walking behind you giving you a boost with your burden. You were too weary to even turn and look at the person helping you. And with such a heavy load, turning around would have been a hassle anyway! It is only when they have walked off far enough that you are able to catch a glimpse of the huge load that they too are dealing with.

Who are these people?

They are people just like you and me who have accepted their calling from God to not just finish their race but to help others do the same. They have taken God at His word and chosen to trust Him. These people walk up the difficult terrain of the mountain, with their heavy loads on their backs, without grumbling or complaining. They don’t bother asking questions like, “Why always me?”

It is important to discern between temporary and permanent Destiny Helpers. Some may be destined to be your life partners; people who share the same vision as you. You are both supposed to help each other carry your loads all the way up the mountain. Don’t try to force a temporary arrangement to become a permanent one, and don’t ignore a permanent Destiny Helper by assuming they are just passing along.

Believe it or not, but even your enemies can be used to get you to your destiny!

That’s right! Those people who seem to be always seem to be opposing you. Joseph had his brothers; David had King Saul; Jesus had Judas; and many more examples exist of people who the devil tried to use to hinder God’s plan. But God always has a much greater plan that the enemy cannot see!

You see, God is always by your side, encouraging you and sending you help in the darkest of moments. Just open up your heart and let Him in. He is searching for people who are willing to do the work He has called them to do, and in the process, change the lives of many others. But first, you must allow Him to transform you into a person who realizes that they are stronger than they ever thought. This is the only way that you will be able to endure the journey and help others along the way.

Do you want to have a personal relationship with God? Then you must believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins. Repent of your sins and ask Him to come into your heart. Only Christ can reconcile you to your heavenly Father. Say this prayer:

Lord Jesus, I accept that you are the Son of God and you died on the cross for my sins. I repent of all my sins and I ask for your forgiveness. Right now I make you my Lord and Savior. Come into my heart. Fill me with your Holy Spirit. Thank you, Lord, for shedding your blood for me at the cross. Amen.

You have now become a child of God! Take the time to read your bible and find a church that teaches the uncompromising Word of God. Let the Holy Spirit work in you to help you become the person God created you to be. God bless you!
